OUR STORY
V FACTOR ENTERTAINMENT started life as an off-the-cuff "brand name" added to various productions I was involved with back in my early radio years in the mid-'90s. At the time, I wasn't really sure what was going to happen to it, but the name stuck in my head & I thought, maybe one day...

Fast forward to 2011 & a few other projects I was tinkering with needed some sort of name to keep them under one umbrella. Suddenly, V FACTOR ENTERTAINMENT was back, but only as a name; more time would have to pass before it became anything else.

In 2013 I started investigating the idea of creating an online radio station but put it aside fearing that it would be difficult to operate solo. However, the idea of doing "something" in that space nagged at me & the following year saw more research into producing a podcast-type show with music. After a few false starts, I found Mixcloud & so began the journey to bring 2 new weekly shows to the public, shows that launched in 2015.

In April 2017 I saw a media release asking for a "tech guru" to help bring back a Brisbane 80's radio station as a 24/7 online stream. Seeing a challenge, I made contact with those involved & another journey commenced, one that would push me to the limit in both personal & professional senses. That station was Stereo 10 Brisbane, which launched on August 10, 2017, at 10:08 A.M (in honour of the station's original frequency). Its success prompted ideas for new stations, which has led to the development of the VFE NETWORK. Two new stations joined the fold in 2019 - NON-STOP NINETIES in March & DOWN UNDER DIGITAL in September.

2020 was a year of change for many, including us. We laid STEREO 10 to rest, replaced it with EPIC EIGHTIES, dealt with stalkers (still ongoing) & began work on our biggest ever project - VFE VARIETY.

VFE VARIETY's launch marks the start of "the new era" for VFE. We are moving forward, despite the haters & harassment, and we will continue to entertain our fans across all of our platforms. Enjoy the ride - we will be!
